the fourth year

today is our fourth anniversary and i really can't believe it.  every other anniversary seemed like it was appropriate and that we had really been married that long, but year four sure came quick.  it was a really good year with its share of ups and downs, but what year doesn't have downs?  they're what make the ups so awesome. 

i sure love scott and i still love that he is my husband.  he is thoughtful, patient, calm, loving, and handsome.  plus, he agreed to do something for our anniversary that most men would not agree to!  we're going to the ingrid michaelson concert tonight, but he gets to pick our dinner place.  i told him i would do something really man-ly with him if he humored me and went.  he's the best.

i've been thinking lately about how life is so weird.  just think about it.  weird things happen.  things you don't expect, things you welcome, things you hate, and things that make you really sad.  but overall, our lives are blessed, and i'm glad i have scott to share in the weirdness of it.
