we moved

in the middle of may, we up and moved out of the parents' basement.  we love our families, but we sure love living in our own place.  not gonna lie.  except we really enjoyed having a live-in babysitter.

what else we love is our place.  well, most of it.  besides the kitchen.  the sink is teeny.  the dishwasher doesn't work.  there is one drawer.  there is virtually no where to cook.  but we make it work because we love the area.  there's a park right across the street and our neighbors/ward are/is sweet.  we're meeting lots of people and jonah loves going to playgroup to play with his "fends" even though he is pretty reclusive and just actually plays on his own when we get there.

here's the family room.  i made those pillows, but i don't think i like the smaller ones.

there's the kitchen.  there's my one drawer.  there's the broken dishwasher.  there's the dirty dishes in the sink (sorry).  there's the fridge to the left and there's the oven behind me.  my crockpot is taking up all my counter space, but don't worry, it's making dinner and i don't keep it there all the time.  the great thing is that it's easy to keep clean.  you would think that the dishes would be done since i just said that, but i can't be perfect all the time.
